I decided to “lean into” this room and counter the small floor space with an amazing oversized floral wallpaper from Ellie Cashman (fittingly called “Dark Floral”). I kept the ceiling and trim white, adding skirting and cornicing to separate this room from the industrial feel of the main living areas. Matte black tapware and raw ‘black pearl’ Enviroven veneer complement the deep tones of the wallpaper whilst Carrara Statuario herringbone marble tile adds interest without distraction.

This small wc located off the main living zone of an open-plan warehouse space has no existing windows and as such can be quite dark. The space echoed the warehouse feel of the building with no heritage features to speak of.
